Shandra, a dedicated veterinary technician, began her career over 12 years ago at a 24-hour facility in Texas, before relocating back to Illinois to continue her work in general practice. With experience in various urgent care settings and a deep passion for surgery, emergency, and ICU care, she thrives in high-pressure environments where she can make a real difference in the lives of animals. Outside of work, Shandra enjoys spending time with her significant other, Robert, and their daughter, Eleanor, along with their four-legged family members: a cat named Yadi, another cat named Rousey, a French Bulldog named Phoenix, and a American Bully named Bruce. A lover of music, she also finds joy in exploring new sounds and rhythms. Shandra’s unwavering commitment to her profession and her family reflects her compassionate and caring nature, both in the clinic and at home.
